Discover how to evolve from a traditional healthcare company to a Health 2.0 company.

Overview

Discover the evolution and great potential of IoT (Internet of Things) in the health sector.

This disruption affects all industries. In the healthcare industry, IoT (Internet of Things) is facilitating the interconnection of different medical applications through online networks, mobile and medical devices. This is transforming the way information about people is gathered, knowledge about patients and the level of personalisation and improvement in the quality of health care services.

Remote patient monitoring enables us to reduce costs, to maintain real-time control and to provide better quality of healthcare, even from home. Besides, at a more operational level, the interoperability of medical devices facilitates the optimisation of the workflow in centres and allows them to have an integrated visibility of the patient.

Technology in medical care is constantly evolving, and the sector has to be prepared to know how digital technologies provide new opportunities and forms of relating to the patient.

The programme, which counts with the collaboration of ACCIÓ, consists of a morning session and a guided tour to the IoT Solutions World Congress 2017. This program is focused on the health sector and provides a panoramic view of how companies are applying the IoT (Internet of Things) with the objective of improving the relations with patients, health services and quality of healthcare.

The programme includes access to BROKERAGE EVENT (organised by ACCIÓ, with the support of Enterprise Europe Networks), where you can find partners for international cooperation, sales and licensing agreements, joint ventures, subcontracting, technology transfer or R + D projects.
