Carlos Alonso is the Director of Corporate Banking Transformation at Banco Sabadell, the fourth largest Spanish banking group, where he promotes transformation and innovation in this bank's business, SME and corporate segments.

Previously, he was Innovation Director at Banco Sabadell, his remit being to develop the Bank's Innovation Plan, by launching new services based on Big Data (Kelvin Retail), new Design Thinking methodologies and an ecosystem for internal innovation (intra-entrepreneurs) and external innovation (collaboration with startups).

Prior to this, he held several positions of responsibility at TMB (Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona) in the areas of strategy, marketing and organisation, where in his final post he led the company’s digital transformation as Director of Strategy and Digital TransformationHe also worked as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture.

Carlos Alonso holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Pompeu Fabra University, a Postgraduate Degree in Executive Development from IESE and a Master's Degree in Marketing from IDEC-UPF.
