Xavier Suñol is Head of Strategic Projects at the Barcelona City Council’s Tourism Department.
He holds a Degree in History from the UAB (Autonomous University of Barcelona), a Postgraduate Degree in Project Management and Public Administration from the UPC and a Master's Degree in Local Public Management from the UPF. Suñol has been linked to the City Council of Barcelona for more than 30 years, where he has held various positions in the areas of culture, strategic planning and service management. He was Operations Manager of the first Strategic Tourism Plan of the city for Barcelona, Director of Cultural Heritage of the Culture Institute of Barcelona, Head of Cultural Promotion for City Districts and Personal Services for the district Nou Barris.
